For the past five years, Shiva has been growing with Asha Ki Kiran Foundation. Brilliant in science, passionate about cricket, and fascinated by technology, he dreams of becoming a software developer and building innovations that create a better future.

These questions have shaped the journey of a fifteen-year-old boy whose curiosity refuses to stay within the pages of a textbook.
Born into a humble family, Shiva has always understood the importance of hard work. His father spends long hours working in a factory while his mother dedicates herself to caring for the family. Their income has always been limited, but their belief in education has never been.
Five years ago, Shiva joined Asha Ki Kiran Foundation with little more than a school bag and an endless desire to learn.
Very quickly, our teachers realised that science wasn’t merely another subject for him—it was his passion.
Whether learning about electricity, space, mathematics, or computers, Shiva approached every concept with excitement. He constantly searched for answers beyond the classroom, eager to understand how the world around him functioned.
Outside academics, another passion filled his afternoons.
Cricket.
On the playground, Shiva displayed the same discipline that defined his studies. He understood teamwork, resilience, and the importance of never giving up after failure.
Those lessons shaped his personality just as much as education did.
Today, Shiva dreams of becoming a software developer and using technology to improve people’s lives. He believes coding is not simply about computers—it is about solving problems, creating opportunities, and making life easier for others.
At Asha Ki Kiran Foundation, we have watched this young boy transform into a confident learner who inspires younger students through his curiosity and humility. More importantly, he has learned that education is not about memorising answers but about asking meaningful questions.
His story reminds us that talent exists everywhere.

One day, Shiva hopes to build software that serves millions of people.
